These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of Personal Codex products. Personal Codex is a product of Middle Tennessee Solutions LLC, Columbia, Tennessee. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Build-to-Order Policy
Every Personal Codex appliance is built to order. When you place an order, we begin sourcing components and scheduling your build. Estimated fulfillment time is 4 – 6 weeks from order confirmation. This estimate is not a guarantee – component availability and build complexity can affect lead times. We will communicate with you if your order is expected to take significantly longer than estimated.

Order Cancellation
Because every unit is custom-configured to your order, cancellations are not accepted once your order has been placed and confirmed. If you have a concern about your order before it ships, please contact us at hello@personal-codex.com and we will do our best to work with you.

Hardware and Testing
Every Personal Codex unit is tested and verified working before it ships. Your unit ships with whatever manufacturer warranty came with its hardware components. We stand behind our configuration work. If your unit is not working as described when it arrives, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

We do not offer a separate extended warranty beyond the manufacturer warranty included with the hardware components.

Returns
Due to the custom build-to-order nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If your unit arrives damaged or defective, contact us at hello@personal-codex.com within 7 days of delivery with a description of the issue and photos where possible. We will work with you to make it right.

Shipping
We ship within the continental United States only. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for carrier delays.

Pricing
Prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Founder’s Batch pricing is valid only for orders placed during the active Founder’s Batch period. Future batch pricing will reflect current hardware market rates.

Open Source Software Disclosure
Personal Codex appliances ship pre-configured with Project NOMAD, an open-source software platform licensed under the Apache 2.0 license. Copyright 2024-2026 Crosstalk Solutions LLC. Personal Codex is entirely independent of Crosstalk Solutions LLC. The Project NOMAD license file is included on every unit as required by the Apache 2.0 license terms.

Support Plans
Codex Current and Codex Concierge support plans are optional subscription services billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account dashboard. No refunds are issued for partial subscription periods.

Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Middle Tennessee Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your purchase or use of a Personal Codex product.

Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maury County, Tennessee.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our products and services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
